Subway Diet – Junk Food And Dieting
Fogle first came to fame in April 1999, after Ryan Coleman, a old student residence mate of Fogle,met him and barely recognized it was him because of the huge amount of lost weight, and he subsequently penned an article for the Indiana Daily Student newpaper about Fogle's weight loss. Men's Health magazine supported the Subway diet story and added the "Subway sandwich diet" in an article called "Stupid Diets. . . that Work!" The article stated that Fogle had become obese by feeding junk food and not exercising. Shifting to consuming at Subway, he modified his feeding uses there to accept heartier choices and smaller parts free of fattening condiments like mayonnaise, which was pursued by his remarkable weight loss. A Chicago-area Subway franchisee took the idea to Subway's Chicago advertising agency.
